Beyond the Veil (Print)

This painting was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Haunted Mansion attraction at Disneyland. The concept is an imagined history of the Haunted Mansion. It depicts the Haunted Mansion as it might have been early in its existence before the railroad and restaurants and shops were built up around it. This is a time when perhaps only one spirit strolled its corridors and floated across its grounds…the attic bride! The style is drawn from several of my favorite Disney artists including Eyvind Earle, Mary Blair, Marc Davis, and James Coleman.
